Selena has been such a secret weapon of mine when it comes to auditions! I'm lucky that we're great collaborators in the sense that I can play and she can really refine the moments I give. Not to mention she is also a master at script analysis. There have been so many times where I didn't know how to give my audition feet and she walked right in and helped paint the picture for me. I've not only gotten more quality auditions since working with her, but casting directors I never used to get called in for call me in SO much now. She's always been able to keep things real and also help explain why they may have gone in a different direction with a character that I taped for. She's actually a complete dictionary for all the film and TV happening so it helps us really dial in a specific tone... which was something I definitely didn't do before working with her. As an actor, after you send off that tape not much is in your control, but when I did the Career Consultation, she helped me refine the things that are in my control like type, headshot ideas and casting directors I should try to meet. I'm also eternally grateful for how quickly she's able to coach with me on often short notice. Ultimately, she really cares, and when I start to feel stagnant in my work, I know it's time to book another Career Consult with her as a bit of a check-up. She is just the best!
